The Fauna Foundation - A Non-Profit Sanctuary for Rescue Animals

In addition to taking care of house pets in Greenfield Park, Taschereau Veterinarian Hospital supports the Fauna Foundation. The Fauna Foundation is a sanctuary that helps rescue animals that have been used, neglected, abused, or abandoned by humans. The foundation's main objective is to improve the fate of chimpanzees that have been rescued from research labs, including chimps that have been infected with HIV.

Founded in 1997, this sanctuary is a protected environment, located in Quebec. It spans more than 200 acres and has a lake, a river, fields, wetlands, and a young forest. If you would like to learn more about the Fauna Foundation, please don’t hesitate to contact the Taschereau Veterinarian Hospital or visit the foundation’s website.
